A big haul for Newlands customers all around. And the biggest honour of the show: Brewery of the Year went to Side Launch Brewing Company, brewing on their Newlands System:

It’s not just the competition – the craft beer community in Canada gets stronger ever year and the awards show is a big part of that. Thank you to the organizers, participants and attendees for making it such a success. We’ll be back again next year and you’ll see lots more Newlands customers on the podium.

Newlands is opening in the US!

We’re getting close to being production ready in Loris, South Carolina. Our new facility is being outfitted with fabrication equipment and prepared for launch. The building is done and the cranes are in, and this summer we’ll be opening the doors to new capacity.

Working with the team at Horry County, it’s been a pleasure establishing ourselves in South Carolina. With a footprint in South Eastern United States to compliment our existing operations in Western Canada, we will be even better equipped to serve customers across the continent and provide Newlands service and support even more quickly and effectively.

The 50,000 sq.ft facility will create 65 jobs in the county and represents an investment of $3.1 million.

Loris is located just north of Myrtle Beach near the border with North Carolina. The facility is located in the Loris Commerce Park.

Welcome to the Newlands self-contained Steampunk pilot brew house concept that combines automation technology from Rockwell with the innovation and ingenuity of the engineers and fabricators at Newlands. This brew house is compact and modular for mobility and flexibility. A compact, 1HL three vessel system features a Mash mixer / wort Kettle combi-vessel, Lauter tun and Whirlpool. Passion, Engineering and Craftsmanship: a showcase of Newlands innovation and design.

This year at the Craft Brewers Conference, attendees got the chance to see the Rat Rod in motion running its automated cycle. If you’d like more information about pilot brew systems from Newlands, please contact us.

Newlands customers earn major hardware this year

This year’s OBAs were held in Niagara Falls, the perfect destination to pour a few sudsy drinks and give them a try. Newlands was a lead sponsor of this year’s awards, and it was a big success. We’re looking forward to next year’s show and more winning customers in the years to come.

It was another great year at the Craft Brewers Conference. 2016 brought us to Philadelphia, and a new record for the largest show with the most attendees. Here at Newlands we were thrilled to put on our biggest show, with a full range of innovative equipment to look at including our Steampunk automated pilot brewhouse, our new Hop Egg and of course to launch our line of Modular Brewhouses with a 30 barrel, three vessel system in the booth for everyone to see.

Take a look at the assembly video to see how big of a deal this is:

Thank you to all of our existing customers that visited the booth and to everyone we got to meet during the show. We hope you enjoyed the hospitality and we’re looking forward to staying in touch. You’ll be hearing from us soon!
